Counseling for Drug and Alcohol Addiction
Many struggle to understand the toll that addiction takes on a person. Often times, the family members of addicted individuals think that some can "just stop" or "just say no". Addiction is much more complicated than that; it changes a person both physically and mentally, and takes time, disciple, and dedication to recover.
I work with individuals who are suffering with, or recovering from, addiction to drugs and alcohol—as well as their families and loved ones. Together, we will identify and break the patterns of addiction that keep people stuck, develop a solid support network and create effective rules to govern it, and accumulate new coping skills that will allow the addicted individual to move on and grow into a new person.
